WEBINAR: Safe Rides to School
February 16, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Approaches to School Transportation During a Pandemic
Schools are reopening to in-person learning mid-pandemic. Will a tsunami of additional cars flood the roads to school? This webinar will review the current status of COVID-safety on school buses, safe walking and biking options, and more. Families, schools, and transportation planners can implement these strategies to avoid schools becoming centers of air pollution from parent drop off. Speakers will examine past trends in how kids got to school, what the data tells us about the current situation, and how school transportation fits into the greater traffic safety and traffic congestion conversation. Join this lively discussion to learn more about safe school transportation alternatives available now.
