Downtown Educational Group Bike Ride

August 15 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Whether you are unfamiliar with biking downtown, or it’s been a while since you’ve ridden and you’re curious what’s new, this bike ride is for you! During this educational group ride, BikeMN will provide a safety overview before leading a small group through downtown. We will highlight different types of infrastructure found in downtown and learn about how to safely navigate one ways, construction detours, and more. This ride is for individuals who know how to ride a bike and are generally comfortable riding on city streets.

Don’t have a bike, or don’t have it downtown? No problem! Add a bike during registration and provide your height – BikeMN will bring a right-sized bike for you to borrow at no cost!

Registration through Eventbrite is free but required, space is limited.

We will meet near the Berger Fountain in Loring Park (Willow Street between Yale Place and Grant Street). Please arrive no later than 4pm to allow for time to assign bikes and hear the safety presentation.

We will stop for snacks and conversation on the route.

Rain/air quality date: Tuesday, August 22nd.
