September 22nd is Car Free Day!

Sorry. This form is no longer available.

  • Car Free Day is an international day celebrated every September 22 when people are encouraged to commute without using single occupancy vehicles (driving alone). Started in 1995, Car Free Day is celebrated in many cities around the world. Minneapolis joins the Car Free Day celebrations this year for the 1st annual Minneapolis Car Free Day. Use an alternative transportation mode instead of driving alone – try a bus, bicycle, carpool, car-share, bike-share, vanpool, light rail, or walk. Pledges are entered to win a Bianchi Townie Bike, a Minneapolis Staycation, or a 4 month Metro Transit Go To Pass!

I pledge to be car free for at least one day.
