2018 Transportation Summit was held on Wednesday, May 9th at the Orchestra Hall Target Atrium

The 2018 Move Minneapolis Transportation Summit – downtown’s most important gathering for the employers, operators, advocates and commuters who make Minneapolis move.

2018 Transportation Summit was held at Orchestra Hall’s Target Atrium. Host Laura Monn Ginsburg introduced keynote speaker Robin Hutcheson Director of Public Works City of Minneapolis, MnDOT’s Aaron Tag and Metro Transit’s Christina Morrison

Downtown Minneapolis is facing the future of transportation today. A massive, four-year I-35W refresh, exciting bus rapid transit lines, a new vision for dockless bike sharing and much more make multimodal transportation a hot topic in downtown boardrooms and breakrooms.

It was a full house at the 2018 Downtown Transportation Summit! Our message of multi-modalism was loud and clear with keynote Robin Hutcheson’s superb analysis of the future of transportation and MnDOT/Metro Transit’s timely suggestions for surviving the I-35W construction project. The event was live-tweeted and social media response has been delightful.

Thanks going out to the many wonderful people and organizations that helped make the 2018 Transportation Summit happen, in addition to our excellent donor-collaborators at Metro Transit and the City of Minneapolis. Special thanks going out to our Summit sponsors:  Target, Thrivent Financial and Allied Parking!
